Fighting Poverty and Hunger in Africa: Mission Impossible?

According to the 2005 Human Development Report commissioned by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the poorest 40 percent of the world’s population—2.5 billion people—live on less than $2 a day. For tens of millions of people around the world, food, clothing, and shelter are luxuries. Many of them suffer the daily torment of not knowing when they will eat their next meal or drink clean water. For these individuals, hope is all that keeps them alive.

The International Food and Health Organization (IFHO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, has pioneered a unique approach to provide basic needs, food security, education, trade skills, and basic infrastructure so that underprivileged individuals can make a difference in their lives.

With your help, IFHO can provide these individuals with opportunities for a better life. No amount of help is too little. Any donation will make a difference. You can make a donation, tell your friends, neighbors, and colleagues at work, or join IFHO as a sponsor or corporate partner. Make a choice to make a difference.
